Numa Shared home

Terms of service

Last updated 20 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Arseny Ovsyannikov, Spain (“we”), who runs Numa Shared. By using the app or the website you accept them. If you don’t, please don’t use Numa Shared.

1. What Numa Shared is

Numa Shared is a record-keeping tool for shared household costs. It works out who owes whom from what the members of a household enter. It never moves money, holds funds, connects to bank accounts or makes payments. It is not a bank, payment service, accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. A “repayment” in Numa Shared is only a record that someone says they paid; the payment itself happens somewhere else, between you and the other person.

2. Balances are only as good as the records

Balances, plans and summaries are calculated from what people enter. Check the figures before you rely on them, especially before you pay anyone. You and the other members are responsible for what you record and for any money you exchange.

3. Free during the beta

Numa Shared is free while it is in beta. Features may change, appear or go away. If we ever introduce paid features, we will say so clearly in advance, and nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement.

4. Your account

You need to be at least 13, or older where local law sets a higher age. You can use Numa Shared without an account on one device; signing in with Apple or Google lets you share a household. Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

5. Shared households

Everything added to a shared household is visible to its members. History is permanent: edits and voids stay visible so every balance can be explained. Only add information about other people that you are entitled to share, and only invite people who should see that household. The household owner manages invitations and membership.

6. Fair use

Don’t use Numa Shared to break the law, to harass or deceive anyone, or to store content you have no right to. Don’t try to access other people’s data, get around limits or security, overload the service, or copy it with automated tools beyond normal personal use, such as your own card sync.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you enter. You allow us to store, process and show it to the members of your household, only as needed to run Numa Shared. The privacy policy explains how personal data is handled.

8. Availability and your data

We work to keep Numa Shared running and your records safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free or free of data loss. Keep your own copy of records that matter: you can export them as CSV at any time. We may change, suspend or end the service; if we end it, we will give reasonable notice where we can so you can export your data.

9. No guarantees

To the extent the law allows, Numa Shared is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of calculations based on the data entered.

10. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for: indirect or consequential losses; lost profits, savings or opportunities; losses caused by information you or other members entered; disagreements or payments between household members; or loss of data you could have avoided by exporting it. In any case, our total liability to you for all claims is limited to fifty euros (€50).

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Ending

You can stop using Numa Shared at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires it. Sections 2, 7 (for content already shared), 9, 10 and 13 continue to apply afterwards.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top always shows the latest version. If a change matters to you, we will tell you in the app or on this site before it takes effect. If you keep using Numa Shared after that, the new terms apply; if you don’t agree, you can delete your account.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Spain. If you live in the European Union or elsewhere as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring a claim in the courts there.

14. Apple and Google

If you got Numa Shared from Apple’s App Store or TestFlight, or sign in with Apple or Google, their own terms also apply to their services. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for Numa Shared or its support.
